C.J. Osman is the Vice President of Government Affairs for the Interstate Natural Gas Association of America (INGAA). He is responsible for leading the association’s government and political affairs efforts to advance INGAA’s key policy priorities, which include conveying the critical role natural gas infrastructure plays in our nation’s energy economy; encouraging enhanced permitting predictability so that energy infrastructure can be built responsibly and successfully; and advocating for pipeline safety and environmental rules that embrace modern technologies and innovation.
C.J. previously served as INGAA’s Vice President of Operations, Safety and Integrity. In that role, he directed the association’s efforts to promote sound federal safety policy for the operations of interstate natural gas pipelines and storage facilities. Prior to joining INGAA in 2016, C.J. managed engineering and construction of onshore natural gas production and processing facilities for a large integrated energy company, working on a variety of upstream and midstream projects in New Mexico, Texas and Colorado. Mr. Osman graduated magna cum laude from Vanderbilt University with a B.A. in economics and B.E. in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering.
