The board of directors of the Interstate Natural Gas Association of America (INGAA) has appointed Kimberly Watson to serve as chair of the organization for a one-year term. Ms. Watson is president of interstate natural gas pipelines for Kinder Morgan, Inc (NYSE: KMI).
“Kim brings nearly two decades of industry experience to the chair role and will be an incredible asset and resource to the organization,” said Amy Andryszak, President and CEO of INGAA. “Her deep expertise with natural gas markets and policy, coupled with her leadership roles and experiences perfectly align with INGAA’s mission to promote our industry’s commitment to the safe and reliable delivery of natural gas. I look forward to working with Kim to advance INGAA’s key priorities in 2022.”
These priorities include:

The work we’re doing as an industry today is playing an important role in contributing to national and global climate goals, and I’m proud to be a part of these efforts.”
Ms. Watson is responsible for Kinder Morgan’s interstate natural gas pipeline and storage assets. Before assuming this role, Ms. Watson served as vice president of business development for the company. Prior to joining Kinder Morgan, Ms. Watson held various positions in the energy sector in commercial marketing, business development and accounting. Ms. Watson holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Texas A&M University.
INGAA’s board also appointed Jimmy Staton, President and CEO of Southern Star Central Gas Pipeline, Inc., as first vice chair and Chad Zamarin, Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategic Development for The Williams Companies, Inc., as second vice chair.
