INGAA Welcomes New Communications Director

The Interstate Natural Gas Association of America (INGAA) and the INGAA Foundation are pleased to announce that Abigail “Abby” Miller has joined the organization as Communications Director.

“Communications is such an important aspect of any advocacy organization, therefore we are thrilled to bring Abby onboard to assist with INGAA’s outreach efforts,” said Amy Andryszak, President and CEO of INGAA and the INGAA Foundation. “Her previous experience, including her time as a reporter, will serve our organization well as we communicate on behalf of our membership the work the natural gas transmission pipeline industry has accomplished to-date on emissions reductions and addressing global climate change, and the foundational role natural gas plays in our nation’s energy economy and meeting our nation’s climate goals.”

“The INGAA Foundation looks forward to working with Abby to communicate our research on important issues affecting the nation’s natural gas infrastructure,” said Tony Straquadine, Executive Director of the INGAA Foundation.  “Sharing our work with diverse stakeholders is key to the Foundation’s mission to facilitate a safe, reliable and environmentally responsible North American natural gas transmission system.”

Previously, Ms. Miller worked as Communications Director at the infrastructure consulting group CG/LA Infrastructure Initiatives. Prior to that, she worked as a journalist in New York, reporting on project finance and infrastructure for Inframation News and as a Breaking News Reporter for Daily Mail Online.

“I am excited to join INGAA and the INGAA Foundation as communications director,” said Ms. Miller. “We’re witnessing a defining period for the natural gas industry, and I look forward to working alongside INGAA’s expert staff to convey the importance of pipeline infrastructure to both American consumers and the greater global economy.”

Ms. Miller received a bachelor's degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
