INGAA Congratulates Richard Glick Being Named FERC Chairman

Amy Andryszak, President and CEO of the Interstate Natural Gas Association of America (INGAA), today issued the following statement about the selection of Richard Glick as Chairman of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC):

“INGAA congratulates Commissioner Richard Glick for being named FERC Chairman by President Joe Biden. We look forward to continuing our work with Chairman Glick and the rest of the commission as it undertakes its important work on behalf of millions of Americans who depend on natural gas every day.

“As an independent regulatory agency, FERC plays a critical role in the review and approval of energy infrastructure projects that allow the safe and reliable transportation of natural gas.  Continuing to develop and modernize this infrastructure is essential to enabling a clean and affordable energy future for all Americans.”
