INGAA Congratulates President Biden on his Inauguration

Washington, DC – INGAA President and CEO Amy Andryszak issued the following statement on the inauguration of Joseph R. Biden as the 46th President of the United States of America:

“INGAA congratulates President Biden on his inauguration as the 46th President of the United States. We look forward to working with the President, Vice President Kamala Harris and their administration to meet our nation’s energy needs and shared environmental goals.

Natural gas, and the infrastructure that safely moves it from where it is produced to where it is consumed, plays a critical role in the road to economic recovery and a low-carbon future. Job creation, reduced emissions and enhanced energy reliability are just a few of the advantages natural gas infrastructure projects have generated and will continue to provide our country for decades to come.

“Today I’m reminded of the strength of our Democracy and our country’s commitment to a peaceful transfer of power. Just as political and business leaders of all stripes have joined together in this moment to congratulate the President and Vice President, INGAA looks forward to working collaboratively with the Biden administration and policymakers from both parties as we begin this next chapter in our nation’s history.  Only by working together can we succeed in providing a safe, reliable, affordable, and clean energy delivery system for all Americans.”
