Jim Gooding is a Senior Consultant with Black & Veatch (B&V) and works in the Lukens Energy Group division of B&V's Enterprise Management Solutions. He has over ten years of energy industry experience with his efforts focused mainly on fundamentals affecting wholesale markets in natural gas and electric power. His specific areas of specialization include weather- and climate-related risk management, energy resource planning, and business process-improvement strategy. Prior to joining LEG, Mr. Gooding was Vice President of Operations for the ImpactWeather business unit of Universal Weather & Aviation, Inc. In that position, he supervised weather forecasters serving the energy and transportation industries, directed research and analysis in support of weather risk management for energy exploration and petrochemical operations, and developed process improvements for 24/7
global client services.
