Molly Aeck is a Client Manager for the origination team based in the United States office. As Client Manager, Molly’s primary role includes outreaching to major US based companies that may have emission reduction opportunities in their asset portfolio, outreaching to US based companies that may seek to purchase Voluntary Emission Reductions (VERs) for their own portfolio or as an intermediary for customers seeking carbon neutrality, selling the firm’s expertise as a consultant to government and private sectors, and finally coordinating participation in the policy development process as individual states begin to develop and implement climate change legislation.
Previously Molly has managed the development of emission reduction projects in the Philippines. Here, Molly was responsible for all local aspects of project development, including liaising with regulatory agencies in order to validate project activities. She also led the EcoSecurities through the incorporation of EcoSecurities Philippines Inc. and increased the pipeline of project opportunities. Now based in the San Francisco Bay area, Molly is a Fulbright Scholar and holds a degree from Stanford University. She previously worked on Capitol Hill, at the Worldwatch Institute, and for the Secretariat of the Renewable Energy Network for the 21st Century (REN21).
