Please make your reservations now for the INGAA Foundation Annual Meeting! The meeting will be held at the Fairmont Turnberry Isle Resort & Club, in Miami, Florida, on November 5-7, 2009.
The Annual Meeting will begin on Thursday, November 5th, with the Planning and Studies Committee Meeting from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. A reception will follow from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. The Executive Committee will meet from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 5, 2009.
Come hear about the expectation for the US economy, energy and the expectations for growth and how natural gas fits in to the future. Get an up to date briefing on implementation of the Foundation’s actions to address the PHMSA Advisory Notice on pipeline construction including the status of the Pipe Quality Action plan. Hear an update on PHMSA’s current viewpoint on pipeline safety from Jeff Weise, Associate Administrator for Pipeline Safety. The Annual INGAA Foundation Golf Tournament will start at 12:30 p.m. There will also be an offshore fishing activity. The day will close with a reception and dinner starting at 6:30 p.m.
Saturday’s schedule will begin with the Foundation Board Meeting at which the board will be asked to approve the budget and the recommended studies program for 2010. Don Santa, President of INGAA will give a highly anticipated briefing on Washington events that effect our industry from pending legislation to agency changes and political events. A detailed briefing on the current status of GHG regulations, agency reporting requirements, and the status of INGAA and INGAA Foundation actions will be presented. The formal program of the Annual Meeting will end at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 7th. A final agenda will be forwarded later.
