The Annual Meeting will begin on Thursday, November 13, with the Planning and Studies Committee Meeting from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. A reception will follow from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.
Joseph T. Kelliher, Chairman of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, will be the keynote speaker for the General Session on Friday, November 14. Chairman Kelliher will present an overview of regulatory challenges and changes. Next will be Denise Bode, CEO of the American Clean Skies Foundation, with a presentation on the role of natural gas as a clean fuel and David Carroll of the Gas Technology Institute on the Direct Use of Natural Gas. The general session will conclude with an address on current INGAA initiatives by James Yardley, President of the pipeline group of El Paso and incoming chairman of the INGAA board. The Annual INGAA Foundation Golf Tournament will start at 12:30 p.m. There will also be in-shore fishing and other activities. The day will close with a reception and dinner starting at 6:30 p.m.
Saturday’s schedule will begin with the Foundation Board Meeting at which the board will be asked to approve the recommended studies program for 2009. The highlight of the general session that day will be keynote addresses by Chairman Gaétan Caron of the National Energy Board of Canada. Results from the Foundation’s study of unconventional natural gas supplies and workforce skills analysis also will be presented on Saturday. The formal program of the Annual Meeting will end at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 15. A final program will be forwarded later.
