Presentation reviews infrastructure needs.  Conclusions include:

  • Offshore exploration necessary to augment declining Gulf production
  • LNG is facing timing and siting issues
  • Infrastructure must be built and the right incentives must facilitate construction
  • Federal and State permitting process must be streamlined to ensure the system is available to meet the growing demand

Kevin P. Madden was named executive vice president of External Affairs at AGL Resources in November 2005.  His responsibilities include Regulatory, Governmental Relations, Strategy and Policy Development, and External Affairs functions, including Corporate Communications, Public Affairs and Community Affairs.  He also chairs the AGL Resources Management Committee and is a member of the AGL Resources Policy Committee.
