Subject : INGAA Foundation Annual Meeting November 4-6, 2010, Bellagio, Las Vegas, Nevada
Please make your reservations for the INGAA Foundation Annual Meeting!
The Annual Meeting will begin on Thursday, November 4th, with the Planning and Studies Committee Meeting from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. A reception will follow from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.
We’ve invited Rex Tillerson, Chairman and CEO of ExxonMobil Corporation to share his perspectives on the opportunities and challenges facing the natural gas industry in light of public perceptions and the political climate surrounding energy and environmental issues. You’ll hear from the Gas Technology Institute on the results of the Foundation sponsored vision for natural gas in a smart energy future! The projected impact of renewable electric generation on natural gas infrastructure will be reported. The morning concludes with a discussion of the macro economy and its effects on the current business environment. The Annual INGAA Foundation Golf Tournament will start at 12:30 p.m. There will also be a tour of the Hoover dam and rafting trip. The day will close with a reception and dinner starting at 6:30 p.m.
Saturday’s schedule will begin with the Foundation Board Meeting at which the board will be asked to approve the budget, officer nominations and the recommended studies program for 2011. Don Santa, President of INGAA will give a highly anticipated post-election briefing on Washington events and will moderate a panel of Press experts on the election’s effects in Congress, the regulatory environment, and other possible impacts on our industry from pending legislation to agency changes and political events. A briefing on INGAA Pipeline Efficiency Report is planned along with a report-out from the Foundation’s Safety Intervention teams with their recommendations for training, lessons learned and construction guidelines. The formal program of the Annual Meeting will end at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 6th. A final agenda will be forwarded later.
