American Pipeline Contractors Association
Serving as a national association of merit shop pipeline contractors, APCA was founded in 1971 as a regional alliance to promote the mutual interests and address industry concerns of its members and associates. The scope of services range from security issues to providing key industry information and assistance, such as: Continuing education on labor and employment issues and regular updates provided by a leading law firm specializing in the pipeline industry; continuing education on important, strategic laws and regulations governing the pipeline industry; continuing education on safety , environmental, quality, drug and alcohol issues; and communicating ideas through newsletters and meetings (including an annual convention); all of which serve as a forum for discussion of concerns and implementation of projects for the Association.

American Steel Pipe Division, ACIPCO
The American Steel Pipe Division of the American Cast Iron Pipe Company operates one of the most modern and well-equipped electric resistance weld mills in the United States. The total manufacturing facility covers in excess of 228,000 square feet under roof.
American Steel Pipe is produced in a size range of 10-3/4" through 24" diameter, in lengths up to 100 feet and in API grades B through X-80. American Steel Pipe has many applications including high pressure oil and gas transmission lines, distribution main lines, offshore gathering systems, steel pipe pilings, abrasive-resistance pipe, HIC resistant pipe for sour service, dredge pipe, and product pipelines. The pipe meets or exceeds electric weld specifications set forth by the American Petroleum Institute. American Steel Pipe holds API Certificate No. 5L-0126 for Line Pipe and is BS EN ISO 9001:2000 certified.
