A subcommittee of the OS&E, the mission of the committee is to:

Monitor and make recommendations on environmental, health & safety issues that will impact the interstate natural gas pipeline industry and identify reasearch and development related to those issues
Identify key rulemakings and initiatives that will have significant impacts on the industry
Coordinate industry participation in key rulemakings and initiatives to yield more appropriate & workable regulation

The Interstate Natural Gas Association of America filed comments to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s advanced notice of proposed rulemaking (ANPRM) associated with residual risk and technology review for 22 industrial source categories subject to National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants. The ANPRM was published in the Federal Register on March 29, 2007 at 72 FR 14734.
