INGAA Congratulates President-Elect Biden

INGAA President and CEO Amy Andryszak issued the following statement on the election of Joseph R. Biden as the 46th President of the United States of America:

“We congratulate President-Elect Biden and Vice President-Elect Harris and look forward to working with their administration to ‘build back better’ and invest in domestic infrastructure. Natural gas infrastructure projects put thousands to work all while improving our environment and enhancing energy reliability

“Increased use of natural gas has enabled sustained environmental and economic progress in our country. Roughly one-third of America’s energy needs are currently met by natural gas, and most credible projections show that trend continuing for decades to come. The President-Elect acknowledged the importance of natural gas during his campaign, and any serious plan to both address global climate change and develop a modern, reliable and affordable energy system must include natural gas as a foundational fuel.

Natural gas and related infrastructure has enjoyed bipartisan support for decades and it is our goal at INGAA to keep it that way. Our team stands ready to work with the Biden Administration and policymakers from both parties in pursuit of an innovative, cleaner energy future that puts the unique advantages of natural gas to good use.”
